Our client, an industry leader in electrical distribution and protection technology, is seeking a Project Specialist to join their team. As a Project Specialist, you will be part of the technical support and sales enablement team, supporting Canadian Field Sales in Eastern Canada. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical interpretation skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Project Specialist
Location: Lachine, QC
Pay Rate: $42/hr
Shift: Mon - Fri, from 9 to 5 (40 hours per week)
What's the Job?
- Support Canadian Field Sales by interpreting complex customer drawings and specifications related to electrical assemblies and control configurations.
- Develop technical comments, clarifications, and formal proposals to facilitate project negotiations and configurations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet pricing targets and provide negotiation support, contributing to individual and team goals.
- Provide technical guidance and value-added engineering support during project negotiations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in generating project configurations and proposals using Bid Manager, supporting growth and project success.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical, or business discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience with electrical assemblies, distribution, and protection technology.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication skills in both oral and written French, with the ability to interpret documents in French.
- Reside within 100km of Montreal, QC;
Mississauga, ON; or Edmonton, AB locations.
