Senior Track Advisor

Position: Alto Senior Track Advisor Role
Location: Montreal

Shape the future of transportation with Alto as a Senior Track Advisor. This key position focuses on ensuring the design and construction of tracks for high-speed rail.

The role is based in one of Alto’s three offices and involves coordination with various technical teams to meet safety, reliability, and environmental standards. Collaborate with civil and signaling teams to contribute to the ambitious rail project connecting Quebec City and Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Private Development Partner for track planning

• Act as a technical guide for track system design

• Ensure conformity with regulatory and project standards

• Contribute to defining safety, durability, and comfort metrics

• Manage technical interfaces for efficient project execution

Requirements:

• Civil Engineering Bachelor's degree or similar

• Canadian P.Eng. designation or eligibility

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on railway engineering experience

• Familiarity with international rail standards beneficial

• Experience on large infrastructure projects required
