This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise while working within SLR's Risk Assessment team. You'll assess complex environmental issues across various sectors, including mining and land development, and gain valuable experience working with clients and regulators on risk-related projects.
Your role will also involve mentoring junior professionals, ensuring knowledge transfer and team growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead human health and ecological risk assessment projects
• Develop project proposals and assist in budgeting processes
• Evaluate data to inform exposure and risk assessments
• Create detailed site models from various data inputs
• Collaborate with technical teams to produce reports
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in a relevant field
• 5 to 10+ years' experience in risk assessments
• Strong analytical and communication capabilities
• Familiarity with municipal and provincial regulations
• Valid driver's license and travel flexibility
