Lead significant energy infrastructure projects as the Site Manager for Hitachi Energy in Montréal, Québec. Ensure the success of construction activities from early preparation to final commissioning of equipment.
This role focuses on managing multi-faceted projects within the power generation sector. You will coordinate closely with subcontractors, clients, and authorities to promote safe execution and compliance. Ideal candidates will possess extensive civil construction knowledge and a commitment to managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary contact with customers and local entities
• Direct site mobilization and daily management
• Communicate the Scope of Work (SoW) to site teams
• Manage subcontractor coordination and variation processes
• Supervise testing and compliance verification
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 10 years as a Site Manager in Québec
• Background in civil projects and commissioning
• Strong grasp of commercial contracts and budget control
• Fluent in both French and English
