Become a Fixed Wing Technology Specialist, supporting calibration and maintenance of geophysical instruments. This position requires flexible hours and includes field support as needed.
Reporting to the Fixed Wing Technology Manager, the ideal candidate will have three years’ experience in electronics and a strong background in troubleshooting systems. The role includes configuring instruments, testing performance, and providing field support. Applicants should be familiar with electronic diagnostic equipment and possess mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure geophysical instruments into Xcalibur systems
• Fabricate and install necessary cables and interfaces
• Modify equipment as per specifications
• Test and calibrate instruments for optimal performance
• Support training for field technicians in equipment use
Requirements:
• Electronics Technologist Diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum three years in electronics-related work
• Proficient in reading schematics
• Experience with diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
