Position: Lead Civil Engineer for Urban Projects

Join a respected consulting firm as the Lead Civil Engineer in the Greater Montreal Area. Oversee urban infrastructure project designs and manage teams to deliver quality outcomes.

This pivotal role involves leading design and project management for municipal infrastructure projects. With 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, you will utilize your expertise in water supply, sewers, drainage, and road systems. Your strong technical skills paired with excellent communication will facilitate effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop designs for urban infrastructure projects including roads and drainage

• Manage project scope, budget, and schedules from planning to closure

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external partners’ efforts

• Serve as primary client contact and present project recommendations

• Assist in bid analysis and provide construction support

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; OIQ member in good standing

• 6-8 years of civil engineering experience, 4+ in urban infrastructure

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft 365

• Strong French communication skills;
English proficiency as needed

• Valid driver's license for site visits
