Location: Dorval
Join West Jet as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and play a key role in maintaining our fleet. You will work with iconic aircraft like Boeing 787 and De Havilland Q400, focusing on safety and precision.
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be an integral part of West Jet’s technical operations team.
This role offers exposure to advanced aircraft systems and demands a proactive approach to troubleshooting. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical in ensuring optimal aircraft performance and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute routine and emergency maintenance procedures
• Analyze and resolve aircraft system failures
• Collaborate with team members to enhance operations
• Ensure meticulous documentation for maintenance records
• Follow safety standards in all maintenance activities
Requirements:
• Current Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Boeing or Q400 aircraft
• Strong understanding of aircraft mechanics and systems
• Eligible to work in Canada legally
• Willingness to work varied shifts including nights and holidays
