Engage in leading-edge technology with Thales as a Systems Engineering Technologist in Ottawa. This hybrid role focuses on communication and control systems, requiring hands-on troubleshooting and technical integration.
In this dynamic position, you'll support Systems Engineering both in the Lab and on-site. Your expertise in RF, digital, and analog subsystems will play a key role in ensuring project adherence to budget and quality. You will engage in integration, verification, and validation tasks while collaborating across multiple facilities, including Gatineau Airport and Palladium Drive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and execute system test cases
• Analyze and evaluate test results for compliance
• Troubleshoot non-compliant systems effectively
• Maintain integration tools and work areas
• Help prepare electrical and mechanical drawings
Requirements:
• College diploma in a Technical Program or equivalent
• 1-3 years experience in a systems engineering environment
• Proficient in reading engineering schematics
• Hands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with common electrical test equipment
