Engineering Intern (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical)-Winter 2027
VTEK Consultants Inc. is a Canadian engineering firm specializing in project management, engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM). For over 25 years, we have successfully delivered projects across the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, biofuels, and other heavy industrial sectors throughout Canada.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our multidisciplinary teams for the Winter 2027 term.

Depending on your field of study and project requirements, you may be asked to:
- Participate in the design and development of engineering solutions.
- Assist engineers with calculations, technical analyses, and engineering studies.
- Contribute to the preparation and updating of technical drawings and documents using AutoCAD.
- Participate in the review of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Collaborate with multiple disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, process, instrumentation, civil/structural, and project management teams.
- Participate in project meetings and technical reviews.
- Support project execution, coordination, and schedule tracking activities.
- Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Participate occasionally in industrial site and construction site visits to gain a better understanding of equipment, processes, and client operations.
- Communicate with team members, suppliers, and clients across Canada in both English and French, as required by project needs.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Eligible for a co-op or credited internship through an accredited educational institution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interest in the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, and heavy industrial sectors.
- Interest in working within a multidisciplinary, project-focused environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other technical software relevant to your discipline is considered an asset.
- Good command of both English and French, spoken and written.
