We are looking for a Reliability and Maintenance Engineer to join our satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

The Reliability and Maintenance Engineer will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans, as well as calibration plans, for machines in operation. You will be part of a specialized testing team tasked with ensuring that the performance of the machines, once in operation, meets production requirements over time, thereby enabling a sustained production rate and predictable maintenance schedules on the production lines.

You will be responsible for the following key duties:

• Provide the planning department with the various resources needed to carry out scheduled work (parts, labor requirements, documentation, etc.).
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Perform failure analyses using tools, and develop and implement solutions.
• Monitor priority equipment (costs, availability, corrective actions, five-year plan).
• Identify areas for improvement in your machinery sector and implement them.
• Identify new technologies and assess their applicability.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Resolve parts procurement issues.
• Take a leadership role during critical interventions.
• Represent the maintenance department in equipment procurement projects
• Liaise with the design team
• Analyze test requirements
• Define calibration and maintenance methods and techniques
• Plan and coordinate testing activities and the technician team.
• Develop and deploy automated tools to track the performance of machines and technicians
