Lead the forefront of electronic hardware design at dormakaba in Montreal as a Senior Electronics Engineer. Drive the next wave of innovation in access control technology through proven expertise.
This pivotal role involves leading the design, development, and verification of cutting-edge electronic hardware for advanced locking products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure your designs are manufacturable, reliable, and meet compliance standards.
Your role directly impacts product success by optimizing electronic systems for performance and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the electronic hardware system-level design process
• Manage schematic capture, PCB layout, and DFMEA reviews
• Innovate low-power circuit designs and sensor integration
• Collaborate with multiple teams for compliance testing
• Direct certification and performance tuning efforts
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering plus 8+ years' experience
• Extensive knowledge of digital, analog, and embedded electronics
• Experience with MCU systems and communication interfaces
• Strong debugging capabilities with various engineering tools
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross-disciplinary teams
