Join Puzzle Medical Devices as a full-time Electrical System Designer in Montreal, focusing on embedded electronic medical devices. Drive the development of life-saving technologies through effective system architecture and requirements management.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with clinical, marketing, and engineering teams to define user needs and system-level requirements for advanced medical devices. Your expertise will help ensure that our embedded electronics, firmware, and software components work together seamlessly, enhancing both patient mobility and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Elicit and document user needs and system-level requirements
• Define system architecture and interface documentation
• Decompose system requirements into clear, verifiable components
• Assess technical risks and contribute to risk management
• Collaborate on system-level acceptance criteria and testing strategies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years in medical system engineering
• Experience with medical device compliance standards
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and IEC 62304
• Proficient in French and English, both written and spoken
