About

the Role

As part of its evolving localization strategy, 2K is investing in new support roles—like the Localization Coordinator—to strengthen the connection between its developers, publishing teams, and localization stakeholders by supporting local and regional teams in solving localization problems, implementing solutions, and representing the localization effort to North American game teams for their native language.

This is a unique opportunity to represent your native language at an upstream intersection of content, tools, culture, and growth—ensuring that localized experiences are delivered with quality, cultural relevance, and technical accuracy across our game portfolio, while contributing to the evolution of the Global Localization department.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide logistical and operational support to local and regional localization stakeholders, including production, QA, and development partners
  • Assist in tracking, managing asset flow, and coordinating across multiple tools and functions—and represent these activities to development during their standard working hours
  • Contribute to emerging language-related internationalization efforts by identifying linguistic risks, supporting culturally appropriate content development, and collaborating with developers to build localization-friendly foundations early in the pipeline
  • Collaborate on tooling and pipeline support, including process documentation, feature testing, and feedback collection
  • Help prepare for certification and compliance by ensuring localization deliverables—specifically for their native language—meet platform requirements and regional standards
  • Assist in coordination between internal teams and external vendors, as needed
  • Leverage native language expertise to address linguistic questions, flag culturally sensitive or language-specific issues, and support LQA teams in your language region
  • Participate in internal initiatives and special projects to help improve localization consistency, automation, and scalability
What You Bring
  • 2–3 years of experience in localization, production coordination, QA, or related fields in gaming or media
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple tasks across stakeholders and platforms
  • Familiarity with localization tools and workflows (e.g., TMS, CAT tools, Jira, CMS, Confluence, etc.)
  • Understanding of internationalization principles and/or platform certification processes is a plus
  • Native or near-native fluency in a supported language…
