Side Montréal is seeking a Localization QA Tester for Japanese video games! Play a vital role in ensuring the quality of localized content during game testing.
This in-person role based in Montreal's Mile-End area requires native-level proficiency in Japanese and excellent English skills. You'll focus on identifying language errors and ensuring that games meet industry standards. This position also involves providing essential feedback and translations, making your gaming insights critical.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proofread and check for Japanese language errors
• Ensure compliance with gaming console guidelines
• Write reports on identified bugs and suggest enhancements
• Monitor for missing or incorrect game content
• Perform brief translations as needed
Requirements:
• Native-level proficiency in Japanese is essential
• Strong English communication skills required
• Basic knowledge of French is a plus
• Good understanding of Japanese culture
• Competent with Excel and attention to detail
