Position: Gameplay Animation Team Leader Role

Harness your animation expertise with NBCUniversal as a Lead Animator, guiding a team to craft high-quality gameplay animations in a collaborative full-time environment. This role demands both artistic vision and leadership skills.

You will oversee all phases of animation production, ensuring your team delivers polished gameplay content that meets AAA standards. Your leadership will inspire animators while aiding their professional development. Clear communication with other disciplines will be essential to navigate production challenges and foster collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the animation team to create engaging gameplay content

• Provide mentorship and guidance during production

• Design and document animation pipeline guidelines

• Create animation assets using mocap and keyframed techniques

• Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to solve blockers

Requirements:

• 7+ years in 3D character animation for AAA games

• Strong knowledge of Motion builder or Maya

• Deep understanding of gameplay mechanics and workflows

• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 is beneficial

• Proven ability to lead teams effectively
