Associate Technical Designer

About the role
As an Associate Technical Designer, you will design games and levels. You will also create, implement and balance game‑play content to model player experiences.
Your day-to day will include:
- Participation in game ideation and associated presentation and documentation work.
- Rapid prototyping of gameplay mechanics, user experiences and creative concepts.
- Designing games, levels and mechanics concepts.
- Scripting games, levels and mechanics concepts.
- Designing visual concepts in collaboration with the development teams.
- Creating technical game design and work documentation.
- Participation in evaluating tasks and setting priorities and schedules.
- Other tasks related to the above which may be asked of you from time to time.
What we are looking for
- Proficiency in game design, game mechanics and gameplay.
- Knowledge of full-stack game development and rapid prototyping.
- Familiarity with UEFN and the Fortnite Creative ecosystem is an asset.
- Certification in game design like NAD-UQAC, UQAT, UdeM, ISART is an asset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Curiosity, creativity and autonomy.
