We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Officer to join the Custody Team, working on global markets settlement operations, which entails repairing instructions with wrong data or format, following settlement process with local custodian agents and resolving breaks reported from counterparts and local agent.

• Verify trades details against confirmations and system records.
• Ensure timely and accurate settlement across different markets.
• Take in charge analysis and investigation on existing pending or breaks on all markets with extensive knowledge of Global market.
• Manage incoming chasing or queries from counterparts and clients.
• Release instructions on market by respecting treasury cut off.
• Manage requests received by email from clients in a timely manner.
• Mitigate risk, put in place partial instructions and place recalls whenever necessary.
• Reconcile cash break and security break between client’s book and sub custody’s book.
• Review procedure on regular basis and provide suggestions
• Provide training to teammates and track progress.

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

3-5 years

3 years + of financial services experience within Settlements

• Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent in Finance or related experience
• Experience in a Global custody or related financial institution
• 3 years + of financial services experience within Settlements
• Securities knowledge (Could be from CSC and or banking industry experience)
• Knowledge of SWIFT messages type (especially 56X for corporate action and/or 54X for settlement)
• French skill is a plus
• Multitasking and time management skills
• Awareness and good ethics behavior
