Position
Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and curious finance professional to join our consolidation team in Montreal. Are you intrigued by CGI’s financial results — from the operating to the legal and consolidated view? Do you want to deepen your expertise in the challenges of a global, growing organization? If so, we can offer you this opportunity.
As a Consolidation Manager, you will lead a team of financial analysts responsible for producing monthly operational results (RMM), consolidated financial statements, and quarterly notes to the consolidated financial statements. You will collaborate closely with various internal experts, including accounting policy, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, and legal teams. You will also play a key role in projects such as accounting for acquisitions, process improvements, and implementing new financial reporting tools.
We are looking for a leader who is not only technically strong but also intellectually curious — someone eager to explore complex topics such as debt and financing structures, foreign exchange (FX) and hedging strategies, and stock-based compensation. Whether you already bring deep expertise in these areas or a strong willingness to learn, your analytical mindset and commitment to continuous improvement will be key to your success.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a manager, you will oversee the preparation of consolidated financial results for both internal management and external stakeholders. You will ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in reporting, while fostering a culture of curiosity and learning within your team.
• Prepare and review consolidated monthly results (RMM, earnings, balance sheet, and cash flow statements)
• Provide and review notes to consolidated financial statements
• Analyze and explain results and variances between periods
• Supervise a team of financial analysts to ensure reporting integrity, accuracy, and adherence to IFRS
• Support internal and external audits by addressing inquiries and providing documentation
• Participate in special projects such as business combinations, financing initiatives, or new accounting treatments
• Identify and lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal partners (tax, treasury, FP&A, legal, and others)
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• CPA designation (or equivalent) and 5–8 years of relevant experience
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of consolidated financial statements
• Interest in (or experience with) complex financial topics such as debt, FX and hedging, and stock-based compensation
• Experience with Hyperion and PSA (an asset)
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills in both French and English

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,–$,. This role is an existing vacancy.
