Job Summary
The Intern, Financial Planning is responsible for assisting Financial Partners in their responsibilities of supporting Transportation, Mechanical, Engineering, or Corporate functions through technological investments. Moreover, the position supports Financial Partners in their day-to-day responsibilities for planning, implementing, monitoring, managing, and controlling all financial activities related to the Technology function. Critical outcomes include supporting the leadership team with key financial insights and operational analytics.
The incumbent has the opportunity to develop business acumen and skillsets for the elaboration of business cases driving CN’s agenda, as well as value through informed and insightful decision-making and investment prioritization. The intern will have the ability to work with both the Mechanical and CN’s Forecasting Financial teams, advancing key projects to drive operational efficiency.
