Mission   Hello, I'm Juliette, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in finance and accounting jobs. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.

Our team of finance experts speaks your language and works in your environment. We cover the finance, accounting and payroll professions.

I'm looking for a Regional controller:

Financial Leadership and Reporting:
- Lead all accounting and financial functions at the plant level
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and performance indicators
- Ensure timely production of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Maintain strong financial controls in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards

Regional Oversight:
- Standardize financial reporting across all yeast plants
- Coach and develop regional finance teams
- Review and support forecasts and budgets prior to submission
- Advise plant managers and senior management on financial performance and areas for improvement

Operational excellence:
- Prepare monthly/quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
- Analyze production hours and staffing requirements
- Monitor investment projects and perform post-implementation reviews
- Lead ERP and payroll system implementations in the region

Cost and inventory management:
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
- Manage inventories, physical counts, and asset observations
- Maintain accurate standard costs, bills of materials, and routings in the ERP system

Compliance and Administration:
- Ensure compliance with financial, food safety, and internal standards
- Manage payroll, audits, and government reporting
- Oversee factory office administration and other related tasks

Your profile   - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA
- 7 to 9 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, ideally in the agri-food industry
- Solid experience in standard cost accounting and ERP system implementation
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Practical leadership with a player/coach mindset
