Tax specialist – Tax compliance

In order to serve our clients in the manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate, services, municipal, social services and NPO sectors, we are looking for a tax compliance specialist in Blainville to support our team of more than 15 experienced professionals.

• Actively review individual, corporate, partnership and trust income tax and information returns;
• Identify tax compliance risks and formulate solutions;
• Act as an intermediary between government authorities and customers;
• Present the results of work carried out to customers;
• Work in partnership with the assurance team, particularly in cases involving complex tax structures;
• Mentor tax interns.

• Master’s degree in taxation (CPA or Bar)
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in taxation (experience in an accounting or legal firm would be an asset);
• Excellent organizational, analytical and critical skills;
• Knowledge of MS Office, Taxprep and tax research software (Taxnet Pro and Intelli Connect)
• Excellent knowledge of French and the Office suite;
• Enjoy teamwork and managing several files simultaneously.
