We are looking for an accomplished Assistant Vice President to join our Internal Audit team as part of our financial services business in Montreal.

As part ofour

Montrealteamyouwill:

• assist with the internal audits for the Maples Group Caribbean, North America, Europe,Asiaand Middle East offices

• review and develop control matrices in line withidentifiedkey risk areas

• monitor open audit observations, as well as project work in relation to policies and procedures, newsystemsand operational risk more generally

• deliver high levelsof client service, while ensuring that each relationship is compliant with internal policies and procedures

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidatepossessesthe following:

• a professional graduate accountancy qualification with a minimum of 2-3 years internal audit experience gained in the financial services industry

• an understanding of investment funds and structured finance

• strong written and verbal communication skills

• an eye for detail and have excellent time management and organization skills
