Finance Leader at Walter Capital Management

Location: Montreal (administrative region)

Lead the Finance function at Walter Capital Management in Westmount, Montreal. This Vice President role involves strategic finance management and team development within a dynamic investment firm.

As Vice President of Finance, you will report directly to the COO and maintain a dotted-line relationship with the CEO of WCM. You will oversee the finance and accounting team while shaping the shared-services strategy that supports the Walter Group. This role requires a blend of financial expertise and the ability to drive performance in a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead general accounting and financial reporting functions

• Mentor and develop the finance and accounting team

• Conduct financial analysis for profit, trends, and budgets

• Coordinate external audits and implement recommendations

• Manage treasury, liquidity, and cash flow projections

Requirements:

• 10 to 15 years of progressive finance experience

• Strong FP&A and financial-planning background

• Experience managing and developing finance teams

• Bilingual in French and English

• Familiarity with BI tools and ERP systems
