Drive portfolio management with Nymbus Capital as a Quantitative Portfolio Strategist in Montreal, utilizing your expertise in production-ready Python within a hybrid work model.
This full-time position requires an intermediate professional with 2 to 5 years of experience. You'll manage fixed income portfolios daily, focusing on trading execution and system enhancements.
Your role will bridge investment strategy and technology, allowing you to make impactful decisions and have significant client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily portfolio reviews for accuracy and compliance
• Execute trades in Canadian corporate bonds under various market conditions
• Automate monthly client report production
• Develop Python-based trading and allocation tools
• Collaborate on integrating new signals and alpha sources
Requirements:
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in production-ready Python and Git
• Familiarity with fixed income products and analytics
• Registered as Associate Advising Representative or equivalent
• Strong communication skills in English and French
