Concordia University invites applications for a Senior Investment Analyst. Contribute to the management of significant assets while utilizing advanced analytical tools in a supportive, multicultural environment.
This 30-month contract role within the Office of the Treasurer focuses on analyzing investment performance and managing risks across diverse portfolios. The Senior Analyst will work with the Director Investments and Deputy CIO, providing valuable insights to the Investment Committees and optimizing investment strategies across public and private markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized investment analysis and recommendations
• Evaluate total-portfolio performance via advanced techniques
• Oversee quantitative monitoring of external managers
• Support strategic portfolio studies and market evaluations
• Produce governance reports for senior management
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field
• Over seven years of experience in institutional investments
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Python
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
• Very good English and good French communication skills
