Extended Back Office Settlements Associate

Manage equities and fixed income settlements across primary and secondary markets as an Extended Back Office Associate. Work with trade issues, reconciliations, and custodians.
This position supports DTC/FED and BNY settlements, including government issues, repos, corporate bonds, triparty activity, and asset backed securities. You will monitor settlement delivery, investigate breaks, and manage operational issues. The work includes equities, convertible bonds, EIS Sales, and securities lending or borrowing.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage pending DTC/FED and BNY settlement transactions
- Monitor equities, convertible bond, and CB settlements
- Verify custodial instructions and settlement-chain integration
- Escalate failed transactions and resolve IT-related issues
- Reconcile positions, invoices, payments, and accounting suspense items
- Bachelor Degree, BSc Degree, or equivalent
- Three to five years of minimal experience
- Three-plus years in settlements or Trade Support
- Experience with Equities and Fixed Income products
- English and French verbal and written communication skills
