Apply credit analysis and loan structuring expertise within BMO’s Real Estate Finance Group in Montreal, supporting commercial clients across Canada.
This Associate, Commercial Banking position supports construction financing, commercial mortgages, development loans, and investment property financing. You will assess repayment capacity, evaluate credit risk, and recommend structures aligned with client needs and BMO policies. The work covers residential, multi-unit, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze client credit information and financial performance
- Structure new, renewal, and extension loans
- Monitor portfolio conditions, compliance, and performance
- Develop proposals and present new business opportunities
- Maintain client relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Five to seven years of relevant credit or lending experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related discipline
- Advanced problem-solving, collaboration, and customer service skills
- Expert-level financial analysis proficiency
- Fluency in French and English
