Associate Director Canadian Equity Research

Lead Canadian equity research and financial modelling as Associate Director with Industrial Alliance Investment Management Inc. in Montreal, Toronto, or Quebec City.

This senior investment role covers assigned sectors and companies across Canadian equity mandates. You will develop differentiated views, assess valuations, and present recommendations to Portfolio Managers. Research spans large-cap and small-cap companies within an active-management platform.

• Lead sector and company coverage across Canadian equity mandates
• Conduct fundamental research, modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis
• Develop evidence-based theses with catalysts and downside analysis
• Present recommendations during portfolio discussions and investment debates
• Monitor investments, earnings, valuations, and thesis milestones

• Five or more years analyzing public companies and recommending stocks
• Deep expertise in at least one specified Canadian equity sector
• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or related discipline
• Advanced financial-modelling and Excel skills
• Advanced English proficiency;
  French proficiency is an asset
