First National seeks a French-English Arrears Specialist for its 12-month contract in Toronto or Montreal, supporting timely collections and client resolutions.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Collections, this Resolution Specialist investigates assigned delinquent accounts and administers portfolio collections. You will establish arrears settlement payments, assess fees, provide mortgage verifications, and collect deficiency balances. The work requires deadlines, multitasking, and policy adherence.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up arrears settlement payments
- Assess and collect applicable fees
- Process new PAC information
- Provide credit ratings and mortgage verifications
- Collect deficiency balances on discharged mortgages
- French-English bilingualism for customer and partner interactions
- Ability to meet deadlines under high volume
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Competency in MS Office and new systems
