Government Relations Leader at RBH

Rothmans, Benson & Hedges Inc., a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, is seeking a Government Relations Leader to shape policy for smoke-free products. This role focuses on stakeholder engagement and regulatory strategy in a dynamic industry.

This senior role demands an experienced leader skilled in government relations and regulatory affairs. The successful candidate will manage relationships with political stakeholders, monitor legislative developments, and lead a high-performing team. You will also execute advocacy campaigns to advance regulatory and business goals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with government officials and advisors

• Monitor and analyze political developments

• Develop stakeholder engagement and advocacy campaigns

• Lead and mentor the Government Relations team

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
Master’s preferred

• 8–12+ years of government relations experience

• Proven track record with senior government stakeholders

• Strong understanding of Canadian regulatory environments

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
