As a key member of Ecojustice's Law Reform team, you’ll leverage your expertise in government relations and campaign strategy to advance environmental laws. The role involves collaboration across various teams and the public to influence policy decisions, ensuring strong advocacy for crucial legal frameworks. You'll be tasked with closely monitoring political developments while integrating JEDI-R considerations into strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze political developments in environmental policies
• Develop and execute campaigns to influence public opinion
• Build relationships with government officials and stakeholders
• Collaborate with teams for coordinated advocacy efforts
• Design strategic initiatives focusing on environmental impact
Requirements:
• 5 years of experience in government relations or campaign strategy
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with officials
• Experience in coalition-building and community strategies
• Excellent public speaking and media communication skills
• Knowledge of legislative processes and current environmental issues
