In this role, you will manage numerous responsibilities, including conducting field investigations of zoning issues and collaborating with city departments. Assisting property owners and developers in navigating the zoning landscape is vital, as is contributing to public policy and training initiatives. Provide essential support to enable community growth while ensuring adherence to regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce zoning codes and ensure development compliance
• Initiate complaints investigations and manage cases
• Perform final inspections to confirm all standards are met
• Work closely with Zoning Administrator and city staff
• Compile documentation and testify in court if needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years in relevant fields
• Associate’s degree with a minimum of 8 years' experience
• High school diploma plus 10 years in applicable areas
• Valid driver’s license with background investigation
• Preferred ICC certification in relevant fields
