Elevate public policy engagement as a Government Affairs Strategist with Enbridge in Ottawa. Collaborate with key government stakeholders to shape policies that impact the energy sector.
In this full-time role, you will support Enbridge's advocacy towards the Government of Canada and Quebec, using your expertise in public affairs and government relations. You will engage with political representatives and create strategic communication materials to influence policy outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop relationships with government officials in Quebec and Ottawa
• Produce briefing notes, presentations, and external communications
• Support engagement strategies with external organizations
• Contribute to annual strategic engagement plans for business priorities
• Provide regional expertise to support internal colleagues
Requirements:
• University degree with 7+ years public affairs experience
• Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
• Proven ability in strategic public affairs planning
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
