Join the NRC's Strategy and Integration team as a Senior Policy Advisor. This role emphasizes strategic thinking, effective communication, and building relationships with key stakeholders.
As a Policy Advisor at the National Research Council (NRC), you will support high-level strategic initiatives for the Secretary General, NRC President, and the Minister of Innovation. Your expertise in public policy and communication will be essential in developing impactful policy documents and briefs, while engaging diverse stakeholders to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide policy advice to senior leadership
• Develop Treasury Board Submissions and Budget Proposals
• Brief management on public policy initiatives
• Build and leverage relationships with stakeholders
• Communicate effectively in both official languages
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in relevant fields
• Significant experience in policy development
• Recent experience within a complex environment
• Knowledge of Government of Canada processes
• Secret Clearance required
