In this influential role, you will conduct thorough research and provide actionable recommendations that align with First Nations' community goals. You will engage in collaborative efforts with leaders and stakeholders, ensuring that policy initiatives are effectively communicated and actioned. Note that this role may require travel to engage with communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and analyze complex issues affecting First Nations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate impactful policies
• Draft strategic documents for senior management
• Organize community consultations and strategic meetings
• Ensure project management of policy initiatives meets expectations
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in policy or research
• Comprehensive knowledge of First Nations' social and political issues
• Proven track record of report writing and analysis
• Understanding of governmental processes related to Indigenous policies
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
