Shape aviation security policy through strategic advice and stakeholder consultation for ICAO’s high-level international work. English is required for this senior consultancy.
As Senior Consultant, you will support the Aviation Security Policy Section within ICAO’s Air Transport Bureau. The work focuses on HLCAS/3 preparation, follow-up, implementation roadmaps, GASeP evolution, and AVSECP/38 coordination. You will apply aviation security policy, international aviation governance, document drafting, and work programme management expertise.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic advice for HLCAS/3 preparations and conference consultations
- Draft and review documents supporting aviation security policy work
- Develop implementation roadmaps for HLCAS/3 outcomes
- Assist with AVSECP/38 organization and work programme alignment
- Support GASeP review, refinement proposals, and stakeholder consultations
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, law, security management, or related field
- At least fifteen years’ progressively responsible aviation security experience
- Substantial experience providing senior-level strategic advice
- Experience in policy, regulation, oversight, or international aviation governance
- English required;
Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish desirable
