POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a talented and inspiring Skincare Specialist entrusted with advancing the success of our business through exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will be eager to learn, have a keen eye for the latest trends, an extensive knowledge of skincare products and techniques, and play a critical role in creating a personalized customer experience anchored in self-care.

Reporting to the Experience Manager, the Skincare Specialist will be trained and will help build genuine connections with our valued clientele, ensuring they discover and embrace their individual beauty.

RESPONSIBILITIES
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Build trusted relationships with customers by actively listening, maintaining self-awareness, engaging in conversation, and demonstrating genuine care and empathy in a warm and professional manner.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Offer elevated self-care services and client experiences to our customers.

EXPERT PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

Possess in-depth knowledge of our luxury skincare product lines, including their ingredients, benefits, and usage instructions.

Stay up to date with the latest skincare trends, techniques, and scientific advancements to deliver accurate and relevant advice to customers.

SKINCARE CONSULTATIONS

Conduct thorough skincare consultations, such as assessing skin type, condition, and lifestyle factors, to understand customers’ unique needs, concerns, and goals, and provide tailored skincare recommendations.

Offer product samples to customers, showcasing their effectiveness and benefits.

GOALS

Consistently achieve department goals by effectively communicating the unique value of our luxury beauty products and providing exceptional customer service.

Utilize solid interpersonal skills to upsell and cross-sell products, ensuring customers have a comprehensive beauty experience tailored to their preferences.

Represent our luxury beauty retailer with pride and professionalism by embodying the brand’s values, authenticity, and esthetic through personal grooming and style.

THE FIRST YEAR
Months 1 – 5
Training on brands, company culture, and ways of working.

Preparing for store opening, and learning policies and procedures and technologies/ platforms.

Month 6+

Store opening, operations, customer service, and continued brand education.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED

1+ years of experience in Retail Sales, Client Service, and Beauty Industry.

High school diploma.
