As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will assess daily functioning, self-care abilities, self-regulation skills, and sensory profiles of our young patients. Collaborate with team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans and provide therapeutic support both individually and in groups. Continuous professional development and participation in quality improvement initiatives are essential to ensure the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess child’s daily functioning and self-care abilities
• Develop coping strategies to enhance patient skills
• Collaborate on individualized treatment plans
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and individual sessions
• Participate in clinical research and quality initiatives
Requirements:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Registered with C.O.T.O. and 2 years of experience
• Related mental health experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Vulnerable Sector Check required
