Join Mackenzie Health as an Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, where you'll focus on training and readiness to respond effectively to emergencies. This position is essential for ensuring safety across the organization.

In this role, you will develop and oversee training programs aimed at enhancing emergency preparedness among staff. Working under the Manager of Enterprise Risk, you will engage with healthcare professionals and external partners to ensure alignment in emergency response strategies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include supporting risk management functions and providing training compliance reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement emergency preparedness education training

• Conduct orientation and re-certifications as needed

• Manage annual drills for emergency response protocols

• Keep accurate records of emergency training and compliance

• Collaborate with the Emergency Preparedness Steering Committee

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in a healthcare discipline

• 1-3 years’ experience in emergency management

• Solid grasp of hospital emergency protocols

• Capable of using Microsoft Word and Excel proficiently

• Effective communication and leadership skills
