The Managing Optician role allows you to combine your technical knowledge with leadership skills. You will oversee the work of other opticians, assist clients in selecting eyewear, and ensure quality lens preparation. Your ability to analyze eye measurements accurately will enhance the client experience at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Measure and analyze client eye specifications
• Supervise activities of 3-4 team members
• Assist customers in selecting and adjusting eyeglasses
• Grind and polish lenses as needed
• Guide clients on care and usage of contact lenses
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Certificate or diploma completed in optical programs
• Licensure from provincial or territorial authorities
• Excellent customer service skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
