Job Description

The Clinical and Product Manager – Medical Imaging Equipment is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by leading the Clinical Applications team and managing the product portfolio for X-Ray and Radiography/Fluoroscopy (R/F) modalities.

This role plays a key part in developing clinical expertise, supporting sales and project teams, optimizing solutions offered to customers, and continuously improving the quality of clinical applications and training programs delivered.

Working closely with internal teams, sales representatives, project managers, and manufacturing partners, the incumbent ensures that proposed solutions meet the clinical, technical, and operational needs of healthcare organizations.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Applications Team Leadership
  • Supervise and support the Clinical Applications team to ensure a high level of expertise and customer service.
  • Define quality standards related to customer training, demonstrations, and clinical support activities.
  • Develop team capabilities and ensure knowledge transfer on new technologies.
Product Management and Clinical Expertise
  • Manage and support the evolution of the medical imaging product portfolio (X-Ray and R/F).
  • Maintain expertise in technologies, market trends, and clinical developments.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to resolve complex technical and clinical issues.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of image quality and acquisition parameters.
Sales and Project Support
  • Support sales teams with RFP responses, customer demonstrations, and business opportunities.
  • Provide clinical and technical expertise during proposal preparation and project reviews.
  • Accompany sales representatives in the field to strengthen their knowledge and practices.
Training and Knowledge Development
  • Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams (sales, clinical applications, and other stakeholders).
  • Train Clinical Application Specialists on products, features, and best practices.
  • Maintain knowledge through continuous learning, conferences, and professional development activities.
Continuous Improvement and Market Intelligence
  • Monitor market trends, competitive solutions, and emerging customer needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in medical imaging, sciences, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
  • A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
Experience
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in medical imaging, clinical applications, or product management.
  • Experience managing a team or providing functional leadership.
  • Experience with medical imaging equipment (X-Ray and/or R/F).
  • Experience in a Med Tech, manufacturing, or medical solutions provider environment is an asset.
Certification
  • Relevant professional certification or membership in a professional association is an asset.
  • Medical imaging technologist certification (CAMRT/OTIMRO) is an asset.
