As a Senior Surgical Technologist, you'll prepare for surgeries, manage sterile environments, and assist surgeons during procedures. This role allows for flexibility with a 36-hour work week, scheduled primarily on weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and arrange sterile instruments and equipment
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and retracting tissues
• Follow strict aseptic procedures throughout surgeries
• Participate in staff training and orientation programs
• Support daily OR turnover and supply replenishment
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Current BLS certification required
• Certification as a surgical technologist or relevant experience
• Proficiency in at least two surgical specialties
• Ability to handle emergency situations professionally
