In-home caregiver – private home – FTD family

Terms of employment:
Full‑time position, 30‑40 hours per week. Flexible/split shift work schedule required. Weekend work may be required. Starts as soon as possible.

Salary: $17‑$21 per hour.

Location:

Montreal, Quebec. The home is located in a residential neighbourhood; schools, parks, and the city bus (route #55) are nearby. The major intersection is boulevard Saint‑Laurent and boulevard de St. Joseph O.

Responsibilities include:

• Care for a six‑year‑old child.
• Organize simple games, activities, crafts, reading, and outings to provide amusement and exercise.
• Help with care and supervision when parents are not home.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals. Clean up after meals.
• Perform general housework, including laundry.
• Dust rooms to maintain a clean environment.

Qualifications:

• Completed at least the Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
• At least one year of work‑related experience as a caregiver or equivalent training.
• Dependable, hardworking, independent, able to manage job tasks without supervision.
