Albert Assaf, based in Westmount, QC H3Y 1T3, is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Personal Support Worker – home support who are self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The open positions pertain to the Term or contract, or full-time job. The shift timings include Day and Evening.

• The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must be able to mend clothing and linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve healthy meals.

• The candidate should be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be dependable.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate should be reliable.

• The candidate should work in optional accommodation, an adjustment to a job or work environment that makes it possible for an individual with a disability to perform their job duties.
• The employee should be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home and can work at various site locations. The specific period of progression is determined by the annual review.
• The candidate should have transportation provided by the employer paid to employees to meet the cost of the daily commute from home to work and vice versa, or for personal expenditure in case of employees in the transport business, provided they are not in receipt of the daily allowance.
• The candidate should receive travel insurance coverage and benefits in situations such as flight delays, loss of passport, baggage loss, medical emergencies, adventure sports, political unrest, and other mishaps.
