The role of the Field Team Manager (FTM) with Abb Vie Care is to directly manage the strategy, operations and tactical implementation of the Abb Vie Care program for their region of Canada.

The FTM is responsible for managing the regionally based field based team consisting of DM’s, FCMs, PCSs and supporting roles who are employees of a 3rd party but directly managed by the FTM.

Close collaboration is critical for this role, as the Field Team Manager (FTM) will need to work in a complex matrix organization. The FTM will need to collaborate regularly with the rest of the Abb Vie Care management team, operations , data, governance, marketing, as well as the commercial, access & trade teams. The suitable candidate will need to work in collaboration with our partner Innomar/Cencora to ensure the HR policies and procedures are implemented for the field-based team.

The FTM must ensure the field team activities are in line with the strategic direction for the patient support program and aligned with the shared business objectives for each therapeutic area.

In addition to the requirements above, the FTM will need to:

• Develop a strong understanding of the patient journeys in each immunology indication and leverage this knowledge to adjust the program offerings to meet the need of patients and HCPs.
• Identify strategies and implement tactics to minimize the time to reimbursement & work closely with Provincial Affair Managers to ensure alignment with current reimbursement status and procedures.
