We are looking for a passionate recruitment professional to join our talent acquisition team based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada, for a one-year term.
Summary OfJob Description
The person must:
- Meet with managers to discuss job needs, requirements, desired skills, and candidate search strategies
- Perform the complete recruitment cycle (posting, interviews, offers)
- Identify hard-to-fill positions using networking and proactive search methods
- Participate in job fairs and trade shows to connect with and recruit top talent in the industry
- Find and evaluate internal and external candidates using available resources, including social media
- Build relationships with qualified candidates, both internally and externally, and create a pool of potential candidates
- Prepare job offers and present them to selected candidates
- Support initiatives to promote an inclusive and diverse work environment
- Follow up with candidates and ensure the update and accuracy of relevant records to comply with labor laws
- Participate in the planning and execution of the candidate search strategy
- Participate in special projects
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least five years of recruitment experience at the levels indicated below
- Experience in recruiting candidates for various positions, including professionals, managers, directors, and manufacturing roles across multiple fields
- Strong ability to proactively recruit candidates, both internally and externally, with the goal of finding the best talent for each position in a timely manner
- Proven ability to build relationships with candidates and managers
- Ability to quickly understand a company's needs and strategy and determine the best strategies to fill positions
- High attention to customer service
- Teamwork and priority management skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in French and English
- Any other combination of schooling and experience deemed equivalent may be considered
