BI & Data Analytics Consultant; Qlik & Power BI Operations

As a Senior Data Analytics Consultant
, your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in business analysis workshops to gather, understand, and clarify reporting and analytics requirements
• Designing and developing reports and dashboards to meet both informational and operational needs, following best practices in Power BI and/or Qlik development
• Providing support for BI applications in production, ensuring performance, reliability, and user satisfaction
• Documenting Business Intelligence and information management solutions, with a focus on Power BI / Qlik architectures, models, and dashboards
• Leading BI migration initiatives, such as:
  Qlik View to Qlik Sense, Qlik to Power BI, On-premise to cloud BI environments
• Executing work in alignment with established BI standards, contributing to the continuous improvement of BI practices
• Running demos, client presentations, and Proofs of Concept (POCs) to showcase BI solutions and analytics capabilities
• Collaborating with data engineers and platform teams to align dashboards with underlying data models and pipelines

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Visualization Consultant, BI Developer, or similar role
• Bilingual French / English (French is a strong asset)
• Strong hands-on experience with Qlik and/or Power BI (Migration from Qlik View to Qlik Sense, Administration of Qlik Sense services, Migration from Qlik to Power BI)
• Proven experience delivering demos, client presentations, and Proofs of Concept (POCs)
• Solid understanding of data concepts, including data modeling for analytics and ETL / ELT fundamentals and how BI tools consume backend data
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python
• Experience collaborating with or supporting backend data platforms (e.g. data warehouses, lake houses, cloud data services)
• Familiarity with modern data environments feeding BI tools (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Azure data services, Fabric)
• Good interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills
• Experience with Tableau is a plus
• Experience supporting on-premise to cloud migrations is a plus
