Overview
Autodesk is seeking a Platform Product Manager to lead our internal development platform with a strong focus on enhancing developer productivity across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role sits at the intersection of product management, platform engineering, and AI innovation—driving the vision and roadmap for capabilities that enable developers to build, test, deploy, and scale faster.
You’ll help shape the future of Autodesk’s developer experience by integrating cutting-edge AI tools and practices into the platform, reducing toil and unlocking efficiencies across thousands of internal engineers. Responsibilities
Identify opportunities and pain points along the developer experience and manage a prioritized roadmap for Autodesk’s internal development platform, with a focus on AI-driven productivity improvements
Translate business and user needs into platform capabilities that reduce friction and enable secure, high-quality software delivery
Conduct competitive and industry research to ensure our platform is aligned with emerging trends in developer tools and AI
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, UX, and research teams to validate solutions and prioritize impact
Drive product decisions and platform evolution using a lean, data-informed mindset
Present platform strategy and outcomes to senior leadership, including CTO and CIO stakeholders
Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, aligning teams around shared goals and metrics
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of product management experience, with a strong background in platform or developer productivity tools
Proven track record delivering platform capabilities for internal engineering teams at Enterprise scale
Strong familiarity and hands on experience with Dev Ops tools such as Git Hub, Cloud Bees, Artifactory, Kubernetes, and Dynatrace
Experience integrating or evaluating AI developer tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, etc)
Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
Ability to manage complex cross-org initiatives and communicate with executive audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Strong storytelling, communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with Autodesk products (cloud and desktop) and cloud platform services
2D and 3D graphics experience would be a big plus
Skilled in defining product metrics and measuring success and impact
Comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting priorities, and influencing outcomes
Passion for developer experience and continuous improvement
