As an IT Monitoring Analyst, you help ensure the stability, performance and resilience of Desjardins Group’s IT services. You’re responsible for continuously monitoring platforms and analyzing IT events to quickly detect anomalies, prevent incidents and support teams during investigations. You play a key role in the Monitoring, Event, Capacity and Performance Management Department, whose mission is to strengthen proactivity, standardize monitoring practices and improve end-to-end visibility across the entire application portfolio.
More specifically, you’ll be asked to:
Analyze major incidents and identify opportunities to improve IT monitoring and the capacity and performance of Desjardins Group’s various IT services.
Continuously monitor various consoles and tools related to the health of Desjardins Group’s application portfolio.
Act as a monitoring expert during incidents, with end-to-end visibility on data to simplify investigations and speed up IT service restoration.
Identify improvement opportunities to continuously optimize monitoring and the tools available to you, while keeping a close eye on data quality.
Develop proactive methods to detect anomalies before they become incidents by analyzing data across the various monitoring and capacity/performance consoles.
Serve as an expert in the Monitoring, Event, Capacity and Performance Management Department by carrying out tasks in the different consoles.
Respond to ad hoc requests from our IT partner clients (advisory support, alert threshold and dashboard management, development of alert rules, training on shared monitoring platforms, etc.).
Develop dashboards and keep them relevant.
Define, document and evolve standardized procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
A minimum of one year of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Knowledge of technology infrastructure and IT monitoring in multi-platform environments
Knowledge of IT event management and/or correlation using tools like Service Now ITOM, Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.
Knowledge of ITIL practices
Work shift:
Rotation including day, night, and weekend shifts in order to ensure 24/7 coverage.
