In this hybrid position, you will oversee the Systems Team at 377 Dalhousie Street.
Your role includes hands-on systems administration, managing IT operations, and prioritizing processes for operational excellence. You will also focus on elevating security practices and automating workflows for improved efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a skilled Systems team
• Manage IT operations, including access and endpoints
• Drive security practices like patching and incident readiness
• Oversee AWS and Linux/Windows server management
• Improve Dev Ops practices and deployment workflows
Requirements:
• Experience leading small technical teams
• Solid background in systems administration
• Strong AWS experience in IAM and networking
• Familiarity with hosting environments like Plesk
• Comfortable in incident response and on-call situations
Shape system performance and cloud infrastructure as the leader of the Systems Team in Ottawa.
